Your Grandfather was probably the same James who was Interned in
Wormwood Scrubs Prison,Whit City,London from 5thfeb 1920 until he
was 1 of the last 3 Internees discharged on 16th June 1920 following a 38 day “hunger strike.
My father (Sean) and his brother (Diarmuid) were with him at the same time-Diarmuid was also 1 of the last 3.
There aws a Peter Dunne Interned also and he was transferred to Brixton Prison on 23 March 1920.

steph the british have never left ireland they still occupy the six north eastern counties of ulster
